Park Hours and Theme Park Availability for Disney World's 50th Anniversary!

It’s finally here — Disney World will turn 50 years old in just one week, on Friday, October 1st. The 50th Anniversary Celebration has been a long time coming, and we can’t wait to check out all of the new entertainment, dining experiences, merchandise, and more!

Are you heading to Disney World next week to celebrate? If so, it’s important to double-check those park hours as well as the current Park Pass Reservation availability so you can anticipate how crowded it could get, plus plan your days out in the parks!

Disney World Park Hours the Week of September 26th

Magic Kingdom‘s operating hours for the week of September 26th will be the following:

Sunday, September 26th through Tuesday, September 28th: 9AM-9PM
Wednesday, September 29th: 9AM-10PM
Thursday, September 30th: 9AM-8PM
Friday, October 1st: 8AM-10PM
Saturday, October 2nd: 9AM-10PM

Magic Kingdom is preparing for the 50th Anniversary!

EPCOT will be open 11AM-9PM from Monday, September 27th through Thursday, September 30th. The park will be open from 11AM-10PM on Sunday, September 26th as well as from Friday, October 1st through Saturday, October 2nd. The EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival is still in full swing and will be open at the same hours as the park each day.

Spaceship Earth

Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be open from 9AM-9PM daily next week.

Tower of Terror

Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be open 8AM-7PM from Sunday, September 26th through Thursday, September 30th. On Friday, October 1st, and Saturday, October 2nd, Animal Kingdom will be open from 8AM-8:30PM.

Tree of Life

Don’t forget that starting next week, all on-property guests will have access to Early Theme Park Entry, which allows them to enter each of the four parks 30 minutes prior to regular opening time.

Current Disney Park Pass Reservation Availability the Week of September 26h

Select Resort Hotels

With the exception of October 1st, guests staying at Select Resort Hotels have full Park Pass Reservation availability at all four theme parks the week of September 26th. On Friday, October 1st, guests staying at Select Resort Hotels can currently book a Park Pass Reservation at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Theme Park Tickets

Currently, guests with Theme Park Tickets have the same Park Pass Reservation availability for next week as guests staying at Select Resort Hotels. Each day next week with the exception of October 1st has full Park Pass Reservation availability. On Friday, October 1st, guests with Theme Park Tickets can book a Park Pass Reservation for Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Annual Passes

If you are an Annual Passholder, your Park Pass Reservation availability for next week looks a little different. From Sunday, September 26th through Thursday, September 30th, Annual Passholders can currently book a Park Pass Reservation at any of the four parks. Currently, all four theme parks are out of available Reservations on Friday, October 1st across all pass levels. On Saturday, October 2nd, Annual Passholders can currently book a Park Pass Reservation at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Don’t forget that if you cannot book a Park Pass Reservation at the park you wish to visit and you have the Park Hopper option on your ticket, you may Hop to a second park after 2PM each day. This is as long as the park you wish to hop to has available capacity and you have already scanned into the first park of the day for which you have a confirmed Park Pass Reservation.
