Disney World’s 50th Anniversary is almost a week away! We’ve been covering all of the exciting events that will take place next week along with the following eighteen months, including brand-new fireworks, dining experiences, merchandise, and more!

If you’re a D23 Member, there’s, even MORE, celebrating to take part in! That’s because the D23 x Walt Disney Imagineering series called Magical Milestones will continue with the 50th Anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort!

This five-part journey will take participants through the history of Disney World, touching on each of the four theme parks as well as the resort hotels with conversations between Disney and Imagineering icons, including Bob Weis, Scott Trowbridge, and Wing Chao.

The exclusive virtual event will feature a gathering of Imagineers and will be hosted by Leslie Iwerks, the director of the Disney+ series The Imagineering Story.

D23 Gold Members can acquire their complimentary access code to view the event. D23 General Members can purchase an access code for $10, plus a $1.50 processing fee. This special panel will premiere on Friday, October 1st at 10AM PST and will remain available through Sunday, October 31st at 11:45PM PST. We’ll be on the lookout for more special ways to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Disney World, both in the parks as well as at home!
