Would You Have Noticed This Secret Celebrity in Disney World?

If you’ve ever been to Disney World, then you know that ride preshows are essential to the story.

Rise of the Resistance Preshow

The preshows set up the events for the ride and often contain some quote-worthy scripts and one-liners. Many of them have massive fanbases filled with people who can quote them from beginning to end. And recently, a popular pre-show character finally made his way to Disney World!

David Danipour is the actor behind the famous preshow for Avatar Flight of Passage at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. He plays the part of Dr. Stevens, better known as the “uhh, fly” guy.

Hey there Doc!

And according to his Twitter (@ADownpour), he made his very first trip to Orlando this week and got the chance to FINALLY test out the iconic ride — after more than four years of it being open to the public. He documented the visit on social media, and the other guests in the room didn’t even notice he was there!

Wouldn’t that be fun to realize you’re watching a ride preshow with the very actor who’s on the screen? It just goes to show that we should all be extra aware of our surroundings in Disney World…you never know who you might encounter! 😉
