The 50th Anniversary is getting closer and closer every day!

October 1st is a BIG day!

We’re just about two weeks out, and Disney World is quickly preparing. We’ve seen all kinds of decorations go up around the resort, from banners to sculptures to brand new signs and we’ve spotted some filming a few times in the parks. Today, one of our readers spotted camera crews again, but there was something special about the “celebrity” they were recording!

Today at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, our follower @DanGual13 on Instagram spotted Goofy filming for the 50th Anniversary. How do we know it’s for the “World’s Most Magical Celebration?” Well, because Goof is wearing a brand-new outfit!

This EARidescent new getup is the same suit that he was wearing in promotional photos for the anniversary celebration. He’ll premiere the outfit in the parks during Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade at Magic Kingdom.

And it’s not just Goofy who’s getting a new look — the whole gang is in on the fun. Even Chip and Dale are joining the party. We can’t wait to see them all in person in just a few days!
