The Halloween season will kick off at the Disneyland Resort on September 3rd, and Disney California Adventure’s after-hours event Oogie Boogie Bash will begin on September 9th! That’s right, we’re just a couple of weeks away from the Happiest Place on Earth transforming into the Spookiest Place on Earth!

Disneyland is preparing for Halloween!

If you’re visiting Downtown Disney this fall, there’s a special pumpkin hunt to check out that comes with a fun prize!

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit begins on September 3rd in the Downtown Disney District. To participate, purchase a game board and sticker set at either World of Disney, Disney’s Pin Traders, Disney Home, Disney Dress Shop, or WonderGround Gallery.

From there, you’ll search around Downtown Disney for hidden decorative pumpkins designed after your favorite Disney characters! When you spot the pumpkins, place the corresponding sticker on your game board.

You’ll then return your game board to World of Disney or Disney Pin Traders for a “spooky surprise.” We have a feeling it has something to do with these adorable Halloween-themed cups… .

The pumpkin hunt will take place from September 3rd through October 31st, or while supplies last. We’ll be sure to keep an eye out for these pumpkins to begin appearing around Downtown Disney! Follow along this season for more spooky activities in and around the Disneyland Resort.
