Running may not be everyone’s favorite activity, but most people probably agree that running in Disney World is way more fun than on a treadmill.
runDisney marathons are back in Disney World for the 2021 to 2022 season, and Disney just revealed the medals starring our favorite Disney villains for the upcoming 2021 Wine & Dine Half Marathon races!
The Wine & Dine Half Marathon will take place November 4-7, 2021 at Disney World. Each race has a different theme, and runners can choose between running a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, or the Two Course Challenge, which is a combination of the 10K and the Half Marathon. Depending on which race you choose to run, you get a different medal! For the Disney Wine & Dine 5k race, runners will earn this Evil Queen medal featuring her iconic poison apple.
Disney Wine & Dine 10K runners will get a The Nightmare Before Christmas medal starring Oogie Boogie and Jack Skellington!
For the “Wickedly Delicious” Half Marathon, which is 13.1 miles, the medal features fan-favorite The Emperor’s New Groove villain Yzma and her assistant Kronk.
And if you choose the Two Course Challenge, which totals 19.3 miles ran between the Half Marathon and the 10K races, you get a medal of our favorite sea witch, Ursula, from The Little Mermaid.
Registration for the 2021 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend opened July 13, 2021, and the Half Marathon and Two-Course Challenge are still available! The race will take place the weekend of November 4-7, 2021. Keep reading DFB for runDisney updates as Disney World releases the runDisney race schedules!
