We’ve got news for Disney history buffs.
The Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco features lots of interesting artifacts and artwork related to the history of Walt Disney. During the global health crisis, the museum has been offering virtual exhibits and soon it will start welcoming guests back in person!
Beginning on April 22nd, The Walt Disney Family Museum will reopen its main museum to the public, along with two special exhibitions. The exhibits on display include Veterans’ Voices: Painted Realities and the new The Walt Disney Studios and World War II exhibit, which some guests have been able to see since last month. In order to visit, guests must purchase tickets in advance, selecting a designated date and time for their visit.
If guests are interested in visiting both the Main Museum and the special World War II exhibition, separate reservations are required. Tickets are currently available and are being gradually released in two-week increments. In case tickets are no longer available for your desired visit date, the museum recommends checking back to see if other dates are added.
Lots of health and safety guidelines will be in place at the museum. Face coverings are required, along with distancing measures, capacity limits, and hand sanitation stations in place.
General admission costs $25 for adults, $20 for seniors, and $15 for youth (age 6-17). Admission is free for children under 6 and members of the military and their families. The museum will be open Thursdays through Sundays from 10AM to 5PM. Tickets are on sale now and can be found on The Walt Disney Family Museum’s website! Check back with us for more Disney updates.
