During this busy Spring Break season in Walt Disney World, we’ve grown used to seeing the Resort’s four theme parks reach their full capacity for the day fairly often, as we keep track of things like the availability of required Disney Park Pass reservations for entry.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios
And since Disney World reopened, in fact, we’ve gotten really used to seeing Disney’s Hollywood Studios, in particular, reach capacity on a fairly regular basis, due to the immense popularity of the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance attraction. But there is one particular park we were surprised to notice had reached capacity when we drove by the entrance today!
Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park reopened on March 7th, but some guests hoping to make a splash today were being turned away at the entrance by cast members, as the park has officially reached capacity!

Blizzard Beach entrance
Blizzard Beach is unique from the theme parks in that advance Park Pass Reservations are NOT required at this time. (Of course, that is subject to change.) So, it’s not as easy to monitor from your computer or phone whether the water park has reached capacity, which is one benefit to the Park Pass Reservation system.

Closed Due to Capacity
And remember, Blizzard Beach is the sole water park to be open to guests, as Typhoon Lagoon currently remains closed.
Still, even if you can’t go today, if you’re considering a visit to Blizzard Beach on your future trip, you can check out what it’s like to visit this newly reopened park, so you can hopefully start making a splash of your own soon!
