We’re here to share everything that’s new in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
We recently visited on a pretty rainy and gloomy day, but we made our way through the park to check out any updates. Let’s take a look at what we found!
Animal Kingdom Merchandise Updates
Chester and Hester’s Dino-Rama
We spotted one of the new Jasmine Disney Babies plushes! We previously spotted this plush in EPCOT and Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and now it’s made its way to Animal Kingdom.
Riverside Depot
These new (slightly creepy) character mugs have appeared in Animal Kingdom as well. We saw this mug featuring the wide grin of the Cheshire Cat.
Plus, for anyone hoping to pose as Stitch while drinking their morning coffee, there’s this mug as well.
And if cats are more your style, there’s a Marie mug.
Each mug costs $14.99.
Animal Kingdom Food Updates
Creature Comforts
While these may not be new, we think it’s important to let y’all know that Valentine’s Day treats are still available at Creature Comforts, the Starbucks location in the park.
We’re not sure exactly how long they’ll be sticking around, but the Valentine’s Day Brownie with Mousse and Valentine’s Day Cupcake were still there during our visit.
Animal Kingdom General Updates
Crowds
Crowds were pretty light during our visit. Wait times for some of the larger rides were on the long side, but nothing especially significant.
Flight of Passage didn’t have a particularly long line, either.
Over in Dinoland, there were some pockets of guests but it was still pretty quiet.
Over near Kilimanjaro Safaris, things were especially empty! The ride only had a 20-minute wait when we were nearby.
And those are all the updates we have to share with you from this trip to Animal Kingdom! Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney World news!
