If there’s a new Disney snack, you know we just HAVE to try it!

We recently tried a BUNCH of new treats for Valentine’s Day, which left us feeling quite full. But now that the holiday has passed, we’re back to trying all the snacks that aren’t dyed pink! We spotted a new churro flavor in Disney Springs today, and it caught our eye…but it may have missed the mark just a bit.
Today in Disney Springs, we stopped by Sunshine Churros to see what was new!

On the menu at this little stand, we spotted a new option — the French Toast Churro!

The sign even says “Maple Syrup Included.” Now, doesn’t that sound lovely? We decided to pick one up for $6.25.

It’s a cinnamon sugar churro topped with powdered sugar and served with maple syrup, which (besides the maple syrup) honestly sounds a little vanilla. Nevertheless, we were excited to try it!

And…it tasted pretty much exactly like a regular churro. The powdered sugar adds a little extra sweetness, but otherwise, it’s a basic cinnamon-sugar flavor. However, we did start to get the breakfast taste when we dipped it in the maple syrup!

Our thoughts here — Sunshine Churros has a LOT of options, so this might be good if you want to branch out just a bit and the other flavors (like Fruity Pebbles) are a bit too bold for your tastes. Your kids will probably like it, and it’s definitely still a good churro, there’s just not anything unique or exciting about it.

Yeah, Disney, you can’t fool us. This is just a regular churro in disguise! If you’re looking for something more outside-the-box, we really enjoyed the Oreo Churro we tried here recently.
