It’s almost February 14th, and we’re STILL trying all the Valentine’s Day snacks in Disney World.
We’ve tasted lots of treats so far: cupcakes, cookie sandwiches, coffee…you name it, we’ve probably tried it. But of course, we’re not finished yet! We’re back today with a coffee and donut from Everglazed Donuts and Cold Brew. This Disney Springs spot is still new to town, but we’re already loving their unique (and delicious!) options.
Let’s start off with that coffee! The Valentine’s Cold Brew is cold brew coffee with chocolate syrup and strawberry purée, topped with whipped cream and heart sprinkles. It looked SO pretty and tasted great, too!
The chocolate, strawberry, and coffee all paired really nicely together. It wasn’t as sweet as some Starbucks drinks we’ve had — the coffee taste was still prominent, and the strawberry flavor wasn’t overwhelming. Plus, we were BIG fans of the heart-shaped sprinkles. It is almost Valentine’s Day, after all!
If you’re into chocolate or mocha coffees, this may be a must-try for you! If you don’t like any strawberry flavor, we wouldn’t recommend. Overall, we really enjoyed this one! It costs $6.50.
Next, we tried the Sweet Heart Donut. It’s a heart-shaped plain glazed donut with strawberry icing, fun sprinkles, and a strawberry buttercream frosting dollop. Just LOOK at that sprinkle overload!
We found the strawberry flavor in both the icing and frosting to be SUPER subtle. Since it’s advertised as a strawberry donut, we were surprised that taste wasn’t more pronounced.
Even without the strong strawberry flavor, though, we really liked this donut. It wasn’t too sweet, and the decorations are fun if you’re looking for a well-themed Valentine’s Day treat! It was $5.50.
Both of these treats are solid options if you’re looking for a seasonal snack. We’ll keeping trying all the Valentine’s Day food in Disney World and let you know what you think! Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news.
