Are the Baby Yoda Macarons FINALLY in Disney World?!

We’re back at Disney Springs to try another new treat!

Disney Springs has brought us a lot of goodies lately. We’ve tasted the delicious Red Velvet Cookie Sandwich, some cake from Gideon’s Bakehouse, and even a Bacon Grilled Cheese DONUT! Now we’re back, and we’re eyeing a tiny blue macaron over at Candy Cauldron.

This little guy is brand-new and wasn’t even labelled in the case, so we’re calling it the Blue Macaron. A Cast Member told us it was a vanilla buttercream flavor. We’re thinking this new treat may be inspired by Baby Yoda’s blue macarons in The Mandalorian, but the Cast Members weren’t sure when we asked. Was this an accident or a subtle nod to our favorite intergalactic baby?

Let’s get tasting! First of all, this macaron is TINY (as in Baby Yoda-sized). Maybe the $4.49 price tag would’ve been worth it if this was a mind-blowing snack, but it just wasn’t. We thought it was way too sweet and chewy.

We wanted some airiness or a little bit of crunch in there, but there was none. It just tasted like sticky sugar. We’re BIG macaron fans, so we have to say this one was a bit of a let-down.

Kids might enjoy this little treat — it’s colorful and full of sugar! But if you’re a macaron fan, you may want to steer clear. This wasn’t the best we’ve had by far.

Even though this macaron was a bit of a disappointment, we’ll keep trying all the newest Disney snacks and letting you know what we think!
