Less Than a Week Later, Disney’s Liberty Square Riverboat is Down AGAIN

Update: The Liberty Square Riverboat is up and running again, just a few hours later!

Less than a week after reopening, the Liberty Square Riverboat is temporarily closed once more.

After being unavailable for months as the Rivers of America area was drained and refurbished, we were excited to see the Liberty Belle back on the water. But after being open for only 5 days, the Riverboat is closed again.

While in Magic Kingdom today, we noticed that the entrance to the Liberty Belle was roped off, and a Cast Member stood in front.

The sign near the entrance stated that the Riverboat was temporarily closed and urged guests to check back later. The sign does indicate that the attraction’s still operating today, so we’re hoping there’s just some minor issues that need fixing.

The Liberty Belle herself is still out on the water! We saw Cast Members onboard as the boat remained stationary in the Rivers of America.
