Back in December, restaurants in Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District faced another round temporary closures due to a regional Stay-At-Home order mandated by the California Governor. And, it wasn’t until recently that California lifted the order, meaning that outdoor dining can return to the state.
This means that active eating and drinking are allowed again at Downtown Disney as long as guests are stationary and physically distanced. In response, we’re now starting to see restaurants announcing their reopening dates. And, today three joined the list and are set to open at the end of the month!
UVA Bar and Cafe will be reopening on January 30th. This outdoor bar is a great spot to enjoy a meal while soaking up all the California sunshine.
You’ll be able to stop by and grab one of their delicious burgers Monday-Thursday from 12PM-8PM and Saturday-Sunday 11AM-8PM. We always enjoy heading over and trying the newest burger of the month so we’ll see what they come up with when they reopen!
And, Tortilla Jo’s will be joining the restaurants reopening at Downtown Disney at the end of the month.
The upbeat Mexican restaurant will be open weekly Monday-Thursday 12PM-8PM and Saturday and Sunday 11AM-8PM. For now, we’re not sure if the counter service location, Taqueria, will be reopening with the restaurant this month.
UPDATE! A THIRD restaurant will be sharing the opening date of January 30th. Naples Ristorante e Bar will reopen bringing southern Italy flavors back to the center of Downtown Disney. You’ll soon be able to return and indulge in all of the classic Italian dishes served straight from traditional wood-fired ovens.
Naples Ristorante will have similar hours as other restaurants reopening and will be open for dining Monday-Thursday 12PM-8PM and Saturday and Sunday 11AM-8PM.
Update: We checked the Disneyland Dining reservations website on January 29th, and we were able to find reservations listed for these three spots for Saturday, January 30th. So if you’re looking to dine at one of these restaurants, it appears you can now make a reservation for them.
