You Can Now Meet a NEW Character at Disney’s Aulani Resort!

Aloha! You know Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy, but have you ever heard of ‘Olu Mel?

If you’re a fan of Duffy the Disney Bear, then you might be familiar with this turtle friend. And now if you’re headed to Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Hawaii, you can meet ‘Olu Mel yourself!

Last year, ‘Olu made a special appearance in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort in the form of a themed cupcake, Dole whip, and TONS of merch.

Sadly, you can’t say hello to this musical turtle in Disney World. BUT if you make your way to Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa you can now meet ‘Olu! Aulani is Disney’s resort located in Ko Olina, Hawai’i. It began a phased reopening on November 1st, 2020.

Disney recently shared that guests can meet ‘Olu at Aulani as he plays endearing and uplifting music on his ‘ukulele. Guests can also meet Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Stitch during their next trip to Aulani.

To celebrate ‘Olu’s arrival, ‘Olu Mel merchandise will be released soon, including a special Tori Richard aloha print that will only be available at Aulani Resort. You can also get some ‘Olu Mel items on shopDisney right now including this crossbody bag for $22!
