Disney’s Animal Kingdom Merchandise Update

Island Mercantile and Discovery Trading Company

If you’re ready to ring in the New Year, you can find a whole bunch of the 2021 items chilling on the shelves at the Island Mercantile and Discovery Trading Company. While we were there, we found the 2021 Phone Case for $29.99…

Plus, you can also find other 2021 apparel, Minnie Ears, and more during your visit to add a pop of color to your wardrobe this year!

Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures

Disney World has started to put its holiday merchandise on sale with HUGE 70% off discounts. And, if you’re wanting to stock up on some Christmas items waaay ahead of this year’s holidays, you can find the same discounts on Christmas merchandise at Chester & Hester’s!

You can snag some seriously cute hats and pajamas.

And, you can even pick up face masks that will still look cute all year long (Christmas in July is a thing, you know)!

Now is definitely the time to save big on holiday merch!

Riverside Depot

Riverside Depot has a few other goodies that you can stock up on, including the Sparkly Pink MagicBand and Disney Dog and Cat MagicBand.

There’s even a whole set of The Emperor’s New Groove Pins with Kronk, Kuzco, Yzma, and the rest of our favorite characters depicting scenes from the film!

Windtraders

Whenever we ride the Na’vi River Journey, we can’t help but be blown away by the Bioluminescent Forest. And, now you can take home a bit of Pandora with you with the Woodsprite Keychain!

Plus, it even lights up! It’s priced at $12.99.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Food Update

Anandapur Ice Cream Truck

Many of the restaurants around Disney’s Animal Kingdom still have their holiday offerings as the New Year kicks off! Anandapur Ice Cream Truck still had its Peppermint Soft Serve, and Cast Members weren’t sure when it would be going away.

We’ll let you know if we notice any changes to the menu here!

Creature Comforts

Although Christmas has passed, Creature Comforts still has its Santa Mousse…

…as well as the 2021 Cupcake (plus, Flame Tree BBQ and Restaurantosaurus also have the New Year treat).

This New Year’s treat was seriously impressive.

Dino-Bite Snacks

Dino-Bite is still serving up the Double-Chocolate Peppermint Ice Cream Sandwich, which was one of our FAVORITE Christmas goodies!

We’re glad we don’t have to say goodbye to this snack just yet.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Entertainment Update

Although Disney World has started to take down some of its decorations around the parks, Animal Kingdom still has its main Christmas tree and Menagerie photo-ops, as of yesterday.

Along with the frame area for family members and friends to pose together, the vibrantly painted Menagerie wall also has the Tree of Life and different characters looking gorgeous!
