Last month, it was announced that the Villas at the Grand Californian Hotel in Disneyland Resort were set to reopen on December 6th.

Disneyland’s Grand Californian Prior to the Closure

During the initial plans for reopening, Disney Vacation Club Members were to be able to book stays in the Villas, while the other areas of the hotel were set to remain closed.

However, following the recent stay-at-home orders issued in the state of California, the reopening of the Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel has now been postponed.

According to an update on the Disney Vacation Club website, the reopening is being delayed while Disney further reviews the new regional stay at home order announced by the State of California on December 3rd.

Disney did not announce an updated timeline for the reopening of the Villas at the Grand Californian Hotel, but we will continue to keep an eye out for any further details as they become available.
