We don’t know about you, but we LOVE gingerbread flavors this time of year — gingerbread is what the holidays taste like!
Gingerbread Muffins
And so far this year, we’ve already tried gingerbread cakes, gingerbread churros, gingerbread cookies, and a gingerbread cupcake. Bring on the gingerbread!
Today though, we found a new gingerbread treat — a Gingerbread Muffin! And yes, it looks identical to the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin we nommed on over at Harambe Market (which we loved). But how does this new gingerbread cousin compare?
Gingerbread Muffin
The fancy cream cheese swirl is exactly the same as the one in the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin. The Gingerbread Muffin, though, comes with an amazing gingerbread smell!

And when you bite into it, the gingerbread flavor adds a nice spice to each bite.

One thing we love about this muffin is that it comes wrapped up, so it’s an easy breakfast to grab on the go — and if you’re not ready to eat it yet, you can just throw it in your bag and snack on it later!

That cream cheese frosting extends to the inside, too — the spiciness of gingerbread and the sweetness of the frosting is a match made in heaven. But we thought the texture of our muffin was a little dry. We’re not sure if this was from a particularly dry batch, but we’re willing to try it again later to see.

We found the Gingerbread Muffin at the cart outside of Pizzafari Heading towards Pandora for $3.99. We love that Animal Kingdom has recently been adding more breakfast options, even at the carts! We’ll keep an eye out for even more breakfast foods there and let you know what we find!
