Review! We’re Samplin’ the New S’MORES Muffin in Disney World!

While earlier we tangoed with the delicious Turtle Cinnamon Roll (and lived to tell the tale!), we’re back with a review of another sweet treat!

S’mores Muffin

What is this delicious-looking snack? This hybrid of sorts is called the S’mores Muffin — and it’s one of Disney World’s beautiful pastry children! Will it be as good as the Turtle Cinnamon Roll? Let’s find out, shall we?

Alright, guys, we know what you’re thinking…this ain’t no muffin. And truth be told, we didn’t think so either when we first saw it. The S’mores Muffin definitely resembles more of a cupcake, so maybe S’mores Breakfast Cupcake would’ve been more appropriate? But this is Disney World and desserts intersect with breakfast items on the reg here, so YOLO.

S’mores Muffin

The new-to-us S’mores Muffin features a super-dense, chocolatey muffin, topped with crushed graham crackers and a couple of mini marshmallows. Not much to it, but maybe there’s elegance in its simplicity we’re hoping?

But sadly, the flavors of the S’mores Muffin are pretty underwhelming. It’s just a really moist, rich chocolate muffin. You can barely taste the graham cracker crumbles on top and the mini marshmallows are gone after one bite.

Since the S’mores Muffin costs $4.99 (the same price as the Turtle Cinnamon Roll) we’d rather go with it instead and pass on the S’mores. And the Cast Member at The Contemporary Resort’s Joffrey’s (where we found both items) said they rotate their treats daily, so you might not always be able to find ’em there! We’ll be on the look-out for these guys at other Joffery’s locations and let you know if we spot them anywhere else!
