Oh man, have we been craving some delicious sashimi and sushi from Tokyo Dining in EPCOT for quite some time!

Fresh Sashimi Sampler
But the wait is finally over (at least in a small way). The Japan Pavilion-Mitsukoshi USA just announced that Tokyo Dining will be reopening soon for a very limited time!
Today, Japan Pavilion-Mitsukoshi USA shared via their Instagram (@japanpavilionmitsukoshiusa) that Tokyo Dining in EPCOT’s Japan pavilion will be reopening from November 26th through November 29th! And the sushi fans rejoiced!

Japan Pavilion
The Japan pavilion shared that the restaurant will only be coming back temporarily to express their “appreciation towards all of you during Thanksgiving.”
Tokyo Dining will have a limited menu, however, so that’s something to keep in mind. Also, reservations will NOT be available (this restaurant was already one of the best spots to get a last-minute reservation at, but that won’t even be a concern now). Instead, the restaurant will operate on a walk-in only basis.

Outside View
Here are Tokyo Dining’s operating hours:
- November 26th through November 28th: 1:00 PM – 8:30 PM
- November 29th: 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM
The restaurant has said that they will have sushi, sashimi, appetizers, and dessert available, and a favorite beverage as well. Just a few days ago, we noticed some serious changes made to the online menu for Tokyo Dining, with the removal of lots of noodle dishes, fried appetizers, and cooked entrees.

Firecracker Roll
The menu is way more slim and definitely more focused on sushi, sashimi, and speciality rolls now. It appears these more limited offerings are what the restaurant will likely have available when they reopen. So, if you were hoping to run in to grab some Vegetable Tempura, Teriyaki Butter Grilled Chicken, or Japanese-Style Sirloin, be aware that those items are NOT on the menu as of right now.

But, if you’ve been waiting to grab some authentic sushi, sashimi, or specialty rolls from this spot, you’ll soon have your chance during Thanksgiving week. If you haven’t already gotten your Park Pass for Thanksgiving, be sure to do so as soon as possible.
If you aren’t able to snag a spot at Tokyo Dining, you can still pop over to Teppan Edo Restaurant, which is currently open, for a hibachi-style meal. We’ll definitely be on the lookout for more updates about all of the restaurants around Disney World. Be sure to come back for more news.
