Disney World leaves very little room for Thanksgiving in the theme parks. The clock strikes midnight on October 31st and the parks are magically transformed into a winter wonderland.
They do squeeze in a few treats to satisfy lovers of fall, turkey, and mashed potatoes. Some restaurants do full out Thanksgiving meals. Others serve up treats inspired by the flavors of autumn! We found a soft, glittery cupcake that reminded us there’s still time for fall goodies.
The Thanksgiving Cupcake is available at the Roaring Fork in Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. The chocolate leaves match the rustic wilderness atmosphere! At first glance, it’s pretty enough for a picture and sparkles in the sun.
The cupcake is full of flavors you probably expect from a Thanksgiving-themed treat! It’s a vanilla cake made with a pumpkin spice flavoring. Since it was made with flavoring, the pumpkin spice didn’t come through super strong.

For pumpkin lovers, this cupcake may be a bit of a bummer! For those of you who enjoy a taste of pumpkin, this one is for you!
The cupcake itself was super soft and practically falling apart in our hands. You can see that the white chocolate frosting was melting quickly in our pictures! We like a good, soft cupcake so it was a perk for us! The fun surprise was the caramel filling that oozed out of the side. It lacked in pumpkin spice, but made up for it with caramel!
The cupcake is $5.99 and available for a limited time. We’re still on the hunt for fall treats and will continue to review them as they turn up! Stay tuned as we try all the seasonal goodies coming out in the next few months.
