And Disney+ will be celebrating the special occasion in a VERY big way… The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse will make its debut on the streaming service on the big day! Here’s the full scoop…
The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse is an all-new animated shorts series by the team behind the Disney Channel’s Mickey Mouse cartoon shorts!

Mickey and his nearest and dearest — Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Pluto, of course! — will star in the new Disney+ series. Disney shares that the gang will “embark on their greatest adventures yet in a wild and zany world where the magic of Disney makes the impossible possible.”
Viewers can look forward to lots of laughs from the “timeless stories” in “modern settings,” as well as new music to go along with it! The new series will feature the art style of the Mickey Mouse shorts, which you may be familiar with as a viewer or even from the new Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway attraction in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Remember: all five seasons of the Mickey Mouse shorts are available to stream on Disney+ now. As for the new series, The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse will debut on November 18th, then two new shorts will roll out on Disney+ every Friday beginning November 27th. Ten shorts in all will premiere in 2020, and 10 additional shorts are slated for Summer 2021!
