Although much of Disney World reopened this summer, many locations within the theme parks have remained closed. However, we are starting to see many of these places beginning to reopen.

Hollywood Scoops at Hollywood Studios

We’ve recently seen a few openings at EPCOT, including the Imagination Pavilion Popcorn Cart and Garden House. Now, we’ve spotted a location reopening at Hollywood Studios — Hollywood Scoops!

We’ll never say no to ice cream, so we were happy to see Hollywood Scoops reopened! However, we noticed the menu was a little smaller, which seems pretty normal right now. Gone are items like the Apple Crisp a la Mode sundae and the Hard Root Beer Float has also disappeared (boo).

Other items missing include cones and the ice cream sandwich on a fresh-baked cookie. We were most disappointed that the Kids’ Cone was gone — we like to order that because it gets the Mickey’d up treatment! We opted for some scoops of strawberry ice cream instead.

Although cones aren’t on the menu, we asked nicely and they gave us one! So, if you’re looking for a cone, simply ask. But do note that they may not always be available.

We broke up the cone and scattered the pieces over the top to enjoy a little crunch with all the smoothness of the ice cream. YUMMY!

The hand-scooped cup is $5.49, and you can choose from chocolate, vanilla, orange sherbet, strawberry, mint chocolate chip, or fat-free no sugar added vanilla. You can read our review of Hollywood scoops here.

We love grabbing ice cream, especially when it’s hot!! It’s nice to have Hollywood Scoops back for when we have a craving! Everyone scream for ice cream!
