Calling all fans of those wicked Disney Villains!!
We’re STILL eating our way through ALL the fun, spooky, and downright tasty Halloween treats in Magic Kingdom! Several eats inspired by those villainous ne’er-do’wells have taken over again this year. And this next one we’re sharing with you? Well, this one is a nacho nod to Hades (“Hi, howya doin’?”) of Hercules!
That’s right… the Hades Nachos are BACK and can be found at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Café for $12.79.
This dish is a huge pile black bean nacho chips with “fiery” buffalo chicken, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, salsa, and jalapeño.
Oh. And did we also mention CHEESE?!?
‘Cuz there’s LOTS of that goin’ on here, too! Of course, we love the stuff, so plenty of it means no complaints here!
So, yeah, this is definitely a meal more than a snack. And it’s a pretty good one, at that. These days, your extras — the lettuce, tomato, sour cream, and salsa — are served up on the side, as the Fixins Bar at Pecos Bill is currently closed.
(But, heads up: we once again got a full tomato — like one you would get for a burger — instead of it being diced like it was on our last visit. Ah, well.)
Anyhoo… the verdict is this: this is a seriously yummy, savory plate, complete with a lil’ bit of heat from the buffalo sauce. That said, we’d happily take more heat, since this dish doesn’t exactly live up to its “fiery” promise. But it’s still a tasty and unique option for the season at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe, so ultimately we’re glad Hades Nachos are back!
We’ve scared up LOTS of Halloween and Fall treats in Disney World, and you can see them ALL here!
My friends, we’ve STILL got more autumn eatin’ to come… so stay tuned, and stay wicked!
