Yesterday we celebrated Star Wars Day (“May the 4th Be With You!”). And today we’re celebrating Cinco de Mayo! What do these two occasions have in common?

They can both be celebrated with fun and festive recipes from Joffrey’s Coffee! May the 4th featured the Dark Side Mocha and the Light Side Mocha. And today Joffrey’s brings us recipes for Churro Fluff Iced Coffee and Mexican Hot Java!

Joffrey’s mentions that this first recipe is a “dessert-inspired” iced coffee…

Churro Fluff Iced Coffee

… and since that dessert is a CHURRO, we are here for it!!

Ingredients

• 1/2 oz. Monin® Spiced Brown Sugar Syrup
• 1/2 oz. Monin® Toasted Marshmallow Syrup
• 5 oz. Joffrey’s Mexico Single Origin Coffee (chilled)
• Milk
• Cinnamon Dusted Marshmallows (optional garnish)
• Whipped Cream (optional garnish)

Instructions

• Fill serving glass with ice
• Pour ingredients into serving glass in order listed
• Pour mixture in mixing tin and back into serving glass
• Add garnish, serve and enjoy!

Mexican Hot Java

Next up is a hot — and spiked! — sip.

Ingredients

• 1/2 oz. Monin® Dark Chocolate Sauce
• 1/2 oz. Monin® Spiced Brown Sugar Syrup
• 1 pinch Cayenne Pepper
• 3/4 oz. Rumchata® Liqueur
• 3/4 oz. Reposado Tequila
• 8 oz. Joffrey’s Mexico Single Origin Coffee
• Cayenne Pepper (optional garnish)
• Cinnamon Stick (optional garnish)
• Cocoa Powder (optional garnish)
• Whipped Cream (optional garnish)

Instructions

• Pour ingredients into serving glass in order listed
• Stir gently
• Add garnish, serve and enjoy!
