Back for its second year, we’re here to dig up some dirt on Trowel & Trellis, Epcot’s all plant-based 2020 Flower and Garden Festival food booth!
So grab your tastebuds and best pair of galoshes while we head over to check out the menu!
Food
Trowel & Trellis is returning to the festival this year with pretty much the same menu, except for a few minor changes!
We’re so glad to see one of our favorites again — the Grilled Street Corn on the Cob with Savory Garlic Spread for $5.75. It made our Best of the Fest list last year and it’s still a winner, baby! The cheesy, garlicy on-the-go treat is kinda like the vegetarian equivalent to walking around Disney World with a classic giant turkey leg!
Meanwhile, the Impossible™ Farmhouse Meatball with Lentil Bread, Spinach, Marinated Vegetables, and Creamy Herb Dressing for $5.75 is making us think meat? What meat? Who needs beef when you can get this much flavor from a delicious meatless bite? Don’t get us wrong, we’ll still be partaking in massive amounts of meaty festival treats, but for a vegetarian option, we think even meat-eaters might be surprised this one!
The Chocolate Pudding Terrarium with Avocado Cream, Matcha Crumble, and Baby Herbs for $5.25 is also back from last year but no longer includes pomegranate seeds — which we’re happy about. Texturally, this dessert is much more enjoyable in 2020!
Beverages
The cold-pressed juices haven’t made their way back to the festival this year, but Trowel & Trellis’ other drink offerings have! The non-alcoholic Bloomin’ Blueberry Lemon and Ginger Tea featuring Twinings of London for $4.50 is still bubbling and brewing. By the way, it tastes as delicious as it did last year when it was a Best of the Fest hit with us!
Bloomin’ Blueberry Lemon and Ginger Tea featuring Twinings of London® with Tito’s Handmade Vodka served in a Mason Jar. The booze and souvenir glass it comes in are worthy of the upgrade! This spiked version will set you back $15.50.
The last beverage at Trowel & Trellis this year is Playalinda Brewing Company Tropical Wonderland Wheat Ale for $4.50 It’s brewed in Titusville, Florida and it’s got just a hint of an islandy taste which we really enjoyed!
If you liked Trowel & Trellis last year, there’s some good news — not much has changed! And if you haven’t dabbled in plant-based cuisine yet, NOW’S YOUR CHANCE! The portion sizes and prices are pretty non-committal, so what do you have to lose? Check it out and let us know what you thought of Trowel & Trellis’ meatless eats!
