One week from today, March 4, 2020, will deliver the kickoff of the 2020 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival, and we’re bursting (or perhaps I should say “blooming”) with all sorts of news today for this annual spring event in Walt Disney World!
The park is busily preparing all the sure signs of Spring throughout Epcot. So we thought we’d take you on a quick jaunt to see some of the Outdoor Kitchen food booths and Disney character-themed topiaries popping up around the park in advance of the Festival!
First up? A few of the Outdoor Kitchen Food Booths, which will bring new dishes and returning favorites to Festival guests!
Outdoor Kitchens
Bright and welcoming, The Citrus Blossom will deliver dishes enhanced with lemon, orange, and mango.
And, don’t forget, this booth will once again serve up a special souvenir: the Orange Bird Sipper!
Pineapple Promenade will serve up two Festival favorites (the Spicy Hot Dog and Dole Whip variations) along with Mixed Berry Buttermilk Cake (which has moved to the Promenade from last year’s Arbor at the Gardeners Terrace).
La Isla Fresca will present the new Lamb Curry with Sweet Plantains and Rice this year.
And there will be plenty more where this came from…

Disney Character Topiaries
And now, let’s find some friends around the park in the form of the Festival’s signature topiaries of beloved Disney characters (and more)!
“Voila! You’ve got a FIGMENT” ready to greet guests near the Journey Into Imagination With Figment!
The Fantasia Topiary scene will be available once again for guests to enjoy, even amidst the current construction within Future World for the park’s transformation.
Moving into World Showcase, Belle and the Beast are taking center stage in the France pavilion.
This year, they are joined by the brand new Remy topiary, making his Flower and Garden Festival debut!

The Norway Troll has made his triumphant return!
And Anna and Elsa are holding court just steps away…
… and yes, that’s RAIN you see coming down today! What’s that they say about “February Showers bring Festival Flowers”?!
Oh, wait! That’s for an April Shower, as our friends from Bambi know all too well!
Finally, moving back towards Future World, the lovely flower murals (including not-so-Hidden Mickeys) are one of the visual hallmarks of the Flower and Garden Festival.
It’s always wonderful to see them return.
Which sights and tastes are YOU most excited to experience at this year’s Flower and Garden Festival?
