Headed to Rise of the Resistance soon?

As you’ve probably heard, Hollywood Studios is in high demand at the moment with the opening of the much-anticipated Rise of the Resistance in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. We’ve been able to count on some morning Extra Magic Hours for a bit now (Rise of the Resistance excluded) but that’s about to change — here’s how!

Morning Extra Magic Hours in Hollywood Studios have been replaced with evening Extra Magic Hours. We know that Rise of the Resistance was previously not included in the morning hours, but will it be an option in the evening? We sure hope so! We will be sure to update once we know for sure!

Rise of the Resistance

This change is coming up soon. We saw the morning Hours disappear on December 15 and 22, being replaced with 2-hour Extra Magic Hours in the evening. That means on the 22nd, you can be in the park until midnight!

Tower of Terror

The shift to evening hours continues into January and the regular park opening swaps from 9 AM to 8 AM. That’s a good chunk of time added to your day in Hollywood Studios and it’s much-needed with the demand of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. We’ve also spotted an early standard opening of 7 AM from December 12 to 21. This means the park will likely be opening at the posted hour instead of earlier like it has been recently.
