Listen, we all know it, but waffles are a HOT commodity in Disney World. From the cult-favorite bubble waffles in Disney Springs to the absolutely beloved Mickey waffles found all over the parks and resorts, Disney guests are certainly not ones to pass up on a waffle treat. Can you blame us? Waffles are pretty darn good. Well, we caught wind of a new Holiday Ice Cream Taco at Ample Hills Creamery and we were on it like syrup on breakfast!
The Ice Cream Taco appeared near Halloween before moving to a more secret menu and it now has new Christmas sprinkles to make it seasonal once more! This sundae is comprised of your choice of ice cream loaded up in a waffle taco shell (dipped in chocolate… yum!) and covered with your choice of toppings.
Ample Hills Creamery Ice Cream Taco
We chose a newer ice cream flavor called The Munchies. Munchies is made with pretzel-infused ice cream with a mix of crackers, potato chips, pretzels, and crushed chocolate candy. Savory and sweet?? YES, PLEASE! This honestly might be a new fave flavor for us.
Our waffle shell was made to order but Cast Members told us that they keep them in stock as much as they can since the demand just keeps going up for the Ice Cream Taco.

They FILL these things up, which we totally appreciate. But ours was SO full that the shell started to break! Maybe our taco shell was a little too fresh, so you might want to speed through snacking on this one or grab a bowl and spoon just in case!
