Wow! Yesterday was a fun one. Not only did Galaxy’s Edge open but the Food and Wine Festival kicked off as well! Does it get any more crazy, exciting, and wonderful? Not often!

During all the madness of yesterday, we also decided to stop by Animal Kingdom as they were offering a few SECRET menu items for Annual Passholders.
Yesterday, from 3-6 PM, Animal Kingdom offered a few secret menu items at Restaurantosaurus, Dawa Bar, Thirsty River Bar and Trek Snacks, and Nomad Lounge!

We stopped by Restaurantosaurus, and guess what the secret menu item was?! A Scotch Egg. We were a bit disappointed at first because we were hoping for something unique and different.

But honestly, after taking a bite, we were pretty satisfied with what we got! A Scotch Egg is typically a hard or soft-boiled egg that has been wrapped in sausage and is coated in bread crumbs.

And guys, this thing was good!! The sausage flavor really came through but didn’t overwhelm the taste of the egg. There was also a green goddess sauce on top, which was really yummy. Overall, it was a nice little snack.

Sadly, since (as far as we know) they only offered this yesterday, you may not be able to go to Restaurantosaurus for a Scotch Egg. But, do not fret! Because Rose and Crown in Epcot’s UK Pavilion has some of the greatest Scotch Eggs…EVER.
