August 29th is just around the corner! Which means so is the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Can you believe it?

Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

In preparation for the opening, Disney has opened advance reservations for Oga’s Cantina, Savi’s Workshop, and Droid Depot. Another thing that Disney is doing to prepare (and to possibly help with crowd control) is offering two daily showings of Fantasmic!

Fantasmic! is a nighttime show filled with characters and fireworks at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Typically, there is only one Fantasmic! show each night. But, from August 29th – September 2nd, guests will be able to watch Fantasmic! at 8:30 PM and at 10 PM.

This means that we can expect Hollywood Studios to be opened a bit later than usual! We are all about more Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge time!

Disney will also be offering Extra Extra Magic Hours for resort guests, giving them more time to enjoy the parks without the potentially massive amount of Star Wars crowds.
