News! Find Out How LucasFilm Will Be Highlighted At The D23 Expo!

The Star Wars news just keeps flooding in today.

First, we received the HUGE news with the opening date for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at both Disney World and Disneyland. And now D23 has just made another pretty big Star Wars announcement.

For the first time EVER at the D23 Expo, Lucasfilm will host its very own pavilion. This will take place on the events show floor and will feature none other than the evolution of stormtroopers.

Those attending will be able to see several stormtrooper costumes that have actually been used on screen!

And there will be an opportunity for the little ones! They can check out Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures video shorts and take part in a few other interactive activities.

Also, in Hall D23 on August 23rd at 3:30 PM, guests will get a sneak peek at the new Disney+ live-action series, The Mandalorian. According to D23, the show, which will actually be the first-ever Star Wars live-action series, will focus on a “bounty hunter who travels the outer reaches of the lawless galaxy, surviving as a mercenary-for-hire.”
