There’s yet another new treat at Kringla Bakeri og Kafe in Epcot’s Norway Pavilion.

And this one’s a mouthful… it’s the Salted Pecan Triple Chocolate Chip Cookie! And you can even add on — as the sign in the bakery case says — “served warm.” 😉

This gigantic cookie takes up an entire plate.

Let’s take the good news first: the “served warm” aspect is a true highlight of this cookie, giving it a nice, chewy center. And the shaved salt on top is a tasty touch.

But oddly, even with the name “Salted Pecan Triple Chocolate Chip Cookie” seeming to promise lots of flavor…

… somehow, the flavors weren’t too intense at all. Granted, we had recently enjoyed a Gideon’s Cookie, which may have made us a bit cookie spoiled. 😉 But all in all, this one fell a bit flat. So, while this cookie is enormous and easily shared, we’d probably quell our cookie craving with one of the offerings at Karamell-Küche not too far away in the Germany Pavilion instead.
