Happy first day of March! Of course, a new month means a new Hot Diggity Dog of the Month at Magic Kingdom’s Casey’s Corner!

And, as the month when we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, the Hot Diggity Dog is themed accordingly with the Corned Beef Hash Hot Dog!

As a reminder, the Featured Hot Dog of the Month can be purchased as a Foot-Long ($13.49) or regular sized ($11.49), both served with fries. Or you can get the specialty toppings on the Loaded Fries of the Month ($6.49).

The Corned Beef Hash Hot Dog is topped with crispy potatoes, sautéed corned beef, cabbage, onions, and carrots. And it’s all topped with a drizzle of Blarney Sauce!

And we were pumped to try it!

Unfortunately, though, even with all those toppings… would you believe it lacked flavor?

From the corned beef, to the crispy potatoes and all the other accompaniments including the Blarney Sauce (which was kind of like a Thousand Island… except without much flavor), it was just lacking in every way.

It was disappointing because the ingredients are so promising and we’ve enjoyed other featured Hot Dogs of the Month so much, but this one just didn’t cut it, we’re bummed to say.

That said, with another month will come a new Hot Diggity Dog! (We learned during the new Taste of Magic Kingdom Park VIP Food Tour that these have been very successful.) So we’ll see you from back here in April with the next Featured Dog!
