Change is a fact of life at Disney theme parks, and has been the case for over 7 decades since the first opening day Disneyland attractions closed less than a year into the park’s existence.

This kind of evolution is, once again, for better or worse, is currently heavy in the air at the Magic Kingdom. Disney recently closed the Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island in 2025 to replace them with the currently under-construction Cars-themed Piston Peak. Villains Land is also being built behind Big Thunder Mountain. With that news in mind, we decided to poll our readers on the potential fate of another Magic Kingdom attraction: the Swiss Family Treehouse.

A Disney World Hotel Pool Is Officially CLOSED for Refurbishment

As the weather gets cooler in Florida, fewer people will find swimming an enticing activity.

NEWS: Iconic Magic Kingdom Attraction To Close for Refurb SOON

Well, a lot is happening in Magic Kingdom right now.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opened earlier this year, but Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will be closed in 2025 for almost an entire year for a refurbishment. We’re already starting to see some construction happening around that ride. On top of that, a new Cars expansion is coming to Frontierland, which will permanently close Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island. Also, an entire new Villains land is set for the park at some point. Now, MORE change is on the way. A classic Disney World attraction will be closing soon for refurbishment.
