Remember the Jumbo Pretzel with Beer Cheese that used to be available at Prince Eric’s Village Market? If you’ve been waiting for this giant snack to make a comeback, we have good news: the DFB team spotted the Jumbo Pretzel in Storybook Circus in Magic Kingdom!
Need your Jumbo Pretzel fix now? Find it at Storybook Circus Snacks, which is just outside of Pete’s Silly Sideshow in the Storybook Circus area of New Fantasyland.
It was another busy week in the Magic Kingdom! We found must-have merch, price increases, snack updates, construction and more!
We’ll start off with some construction updates. We are getting so excited for the Tron ride! In addition to this “billboard” promoting the ride that you see while you’re on the train we could spot cranes and equipment — signs they are working away to have the ride ready for 2021.
We all know and love the sight… you know you’ve arrived on Main Street, U.S.A. when you spot a bevy of balloons waving high overhead.
And now, at long last, you can bring one home with you from Disney World that will never deflate! [Read more…]

We starting hearing from our DFB Readers about these brand new Dumbo themed souvenir popcorn buckets in Disney World’s New Fantasyland last week, and I couldn’t wait to see them!
Found in Magic Kingdom’s Storybook Circus, these are unlike any other souvenir containers we’ve ever seen.
Usually, souvenir containers are, themselves, filled with popcorn. But it looks like these are just “carrying cases” for a regular box of Disney popcorn.
Nonetheless, they’re great looking. And once the popcorn is gone, it looks like a handle comes up and you’re able to use the bucket as a little [Read more…]

During this Grand Opening weekend, guests will be able to find lots of fun eats, treats, and memory-making merch to indulge in. A couple of my favorites? These New Fantasyland cupcakes!
These can be found at Big Top Treats and Main Street Confectionery.
Find these at Main Street Bakery!
Over at Gaston’s Tavern, they’re open for business serving up Pork Shanks, Le Fou’s Brew, and cinnamon rolls among other eats.
And commemorate your visit with one of these fun Gaston t-shirts! [Read more…]

We’ve waited for months (sometimes it seems like years!) for the debut of the first sections of the New Fantasyland in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, and now we can finally say…
Sections of Storybook Circus have been open for a while — we even scoped it out a bit here!
But today we’re taking a more in-depth tour of Storybook Circus in the New Fantasyland — with a special emphasis on all the fantastic new FOOD, including the house-made caramel corn! But more about that later…
Occupying the area that was once Mickey’s Toontown Fair, Storybook Circus is themed as an old-fashioned circus straight out of the picture books that I loved as a kid.
Here, you’ll see plenty of touches that recall beloved scenes and a fun retro vibe from the classic film Dumbo, with lots of other Disney characters thrown in for good measure!
Big Top Souvenirs takes center stage in Storybook Circus. Inside the huge tent structure, you’ll also find Big Top Treats right in the middle, complete with a show kitchen.
The sign outside hints at the treats inside, with teasers for cotton candy and caramel apples.
And cast members embrace the fun atmosphere! This guy with his puppets was hilarious! I totally wanted to tweak his clown nose. 🙂
Thoughtful touches surround [Read more…]

Storybook Circus as soft-opened in Disney World, and we were there to check out if there were any new eats to “write home about!”

Welcome to Storybook Circus!
We got a peek at the ONLY food being sold in this newest area of the Magic Kingdom’s Fantasyland — popcorn, ice cream novelties, and cotton candy! These are being sold from an adorable circus cart very close to the entrance of the new area.
