EPCOT
From Victoria & Albert’s at the Grand Floridian to Monsieur Paul in EPCOT — you can experience fine dining at the Most Magical Place on Earth. One fancy Disney World restaurant reopened recently but was only accepting walk-ins — until now! Takumi-Tei is taking reservations and we’ve got all the details.

We’ve seen the slow reopening of hotels, gift shops, and restaurants around the property, and some things haven’t yet returned to normal. But today, we’re one step closer at EPCOT, thanks to some big restaurant news!

One of Disney World’s fanciest restaurants is about to reopen in EPCOT! Soon, you’ll be able to head to the France pavilion to indulge in luxurious French cuisine at Monsieur Paul Restaurant.

Disney fans rejoiced as the theme parks began their phased reopenings, which many assumed would lead to “normal” operations within the following months.
France Pavilion
With Disney World beginning their phased reopening back in July of 2020 — it’s been over two years of phasing back into full operations, but some things are still missing, like a handful of table service restaurants in EPCOT. But now, Disney just announced the reopening date for one EPCOT dining spot, and it’s SOON!

Great options (like Citricos at the Grand Floridian) aren’t far from the parks!
We consider ourselves to be Disney food experts at this point, but you don’t have to take our word for it alone — many of the restaurants on Disney World property are award-winning. Several places have been awarded recognition from the Michelin Guide in the past, and this year, we can add even more dining spots to that count!
Most signature dining experiences in Disney World are known for high prices and high quality; is that a tradeoff you’re willing to make? And while you’re at it, ponder this: are you willing to leave the Disney parks for a meal at a Disney hotel? It’s a tough call! There are TONS of great eats in all four parks, but does the experience compare to a quiet sit-down dinner at a hotel’s signature restaurant?

We’re considering all these questions and more as we head over to the newly reopened restaurant, Jiko — The Cooking Place, at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge — Jambo House.
