There are officially fewer shopping options at Disney Springs now, as another store has closed.

Francesca’s clothing store closed its doors on March 29th, after the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in early 2026 and proceeded to shut down all store locations. While Disney hasn’t revealed what might be replacing Francesca’s just yet, we’re hopeful something will be announced soon.
Tomorrow, yet ANOTHER change hits Disney Springs when it comes to what stores are offered for your shopping experience.

Earlier this year, a large chain announced that EVERY store of theirs around the United States would all be closing on the same day, but it wasn’t announced just when that would be, until a few weeks later. Yes, that means that the Francesca’s in Disney Springs, as well as all other locations, officially close their doors tomorrow, March 29th.
We knew it was coming, but now the day has finally come — another Disney Springs store is closing, and it’s closing SOON.

Back in the middle of January, the company Francesca’s announced that it would soon be closing ALL of its stores around the United States after 25 years of business, and that includes the store in Disney Springs. Previously, we didn’t have a date as to when that closure would take place, but now we do, and it’s coming sooner than we thought.
Disney Springs is one of those places at Disney World that’s always changing. New stores will open, like the brand-new second location for Gideon’s Bakehouse called Six Ravens, and places will close, like Sprinkles, the cupcake shop with the iconic cupcake ATM. It looks like we might be adding another closure to our list!
