It seems like there’s always some new 10th, 25th, or 82nd movie anniversary collection dropping online, and just when we make it through celebrations for one film, we’re on to the next! But honestly? We’re not complaining. Usually this means that even the underrated Disney movies get their moment in the sun. And the new collection is all about honoring the 10th Anniversary of Inside Out!
2024 was a BIG year for Disney movies and TV shows.

We got new additions to Disney+ like Agatha All Along and Descendants 4 — The Rise of Red. In theaters, you could go see hits like Inside Out 2, Deadpool & Wolverine, or Moana 2. And now that the year is drawing to a close, it’s time to see which of 2024’s biggest entertainment offerings got nominated for awards!

Over the last 15+ years, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has mined the comic book company’s intellectual property library to adapt hundreds of characters across countless films and series, including several “super-teams” including the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and their upcoming take on Fantastic Four. Now, Marvel has dropped a trailer for the next team to get the MCU treatment: the Thunderbolts.

Disney has long been associated with documentary filmmaking about nature, going back to the Academy Award-winning True Life Adventures series that Walt Disney himself spearheaded from the late 1940s through the 1960s. The company founded the Disneynature division in 2008, and has released dozens of high quality, expertly filmed nature documentaries under that umbrella since, most of them on or near Earth Day, April 22nd.

It was an endearing story that made us feel a little nostalgic for some older Disney films in the best way. It made us feel a little emotional at times as well, which seems to be a theme with our favorite Disney movies. We’re getting a LOT of news from Star Wars Celebration!

So far, we’ve learned about three new Star Wars films, the release timeline for Ahsoka on Disney+, and so much more! But one thing that was mentioned that isn’t Star Wars-related? Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. The hit movie franchise is also part of Lucasfilm, and we got a big reveal about the upcoming film!
If you go into Lightyear expecting it to be the same as the Toy Story films you know and love, you won’t quite find what you’re looking for.

Pixar has released a number of new films over the years. We first got Soul back in 2020, followed by Luca in the summer of 2021. Turning Red came to Disney+ earlier in 2022, but now Pixar is getting its first theatrical movie release since the pandemic — Lightyear!
Stars are just like us! They drink Disney margaritas, they LOVE Star Wars, and they enjoy Jungle Cruise jokes as much as we do! Of course, some celebrities have Disney roots that go even DEEPER!
