We know that the attraction will be a “lush exploration trail” that allows visitors to “play with magical, living water” and that you’ll learn all about the importance of the natural water cycle during the experience. But what have each of these rides done to earn their famous/infamous reputations? Find out TODAY, here on DFB Guide.
We’ve learned a LOT about Genie+ since it first launched at Disney World in 2021.
We’ve used it countless times and learned the ins and outs, the little secrets, and all the tips that you need to know in order to get your money’s worth out of the system. (Because if we’re going to pay for it, we certainly want to get the value!) So today, we’re sharing our recommendations for the FIRST Genie+ Lightning Lanes that you should book during a visit to EPCOT.

Supply chain issues have been plaguing Disney World for a while now, with merchandise shortages even closing down a gift shop in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Although we recently saw that shop reopen, there have continued to be problems elsewhere in the parks.
For example, a popular EPCOT snack is still missing from the Norway pavilion — Cast Members have cited supply problems for that shortage. And there’s another EPCOT spot that’s suffering from shortages as well. [Read more…]
Parts of EPCOT look a bit like a maze right now, with a LOT of walls up to hide construction sites. Now, we’ve got an update about another EPCOT project that’s currently in the works!
Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana is a walk-through attraction coming to the World Nature section of EPCOT. This is the big construction site that you’ll see right behind Spaceship Earth. We’ve seen some concept art for this attraction, and we’ve been tracking the project’s progress, which you can see from the EPCOT Monorail. But now Disney has released NEW concept art! [Read more…]
Whew, it’s been a busy month in Disney World!
From the booth announcements for the 2022 EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival to the coming opening of 2023 Walt Disney World vacation bookings, we’ve got a lot coming at us. But, there’s some news we DIDN’T see coming! Here are the three most unexpected things that happened at Disney World last month!
Skipping the standby line for one EPCOT attraction is changing soon in Disney World!
Well, at least for a little while. Since Disney introduced Genie+ and Individual Attraction Selection, guests who pay for the services have been able to bypass the regular line at select attractions. Access to certain rides is available through Genie+, while Individual Attraction Selection grants access to others. And, one EPCOT ride will be changing the way guests skip the line for a limited time!
UPDATED July 24, 2024
The Genie+ section on the Disney World website currently states that guests can expect to reserve 2-3 Lightning Lanes per day if they buy Genie+. But is that actually true?
We’re in Disney World all the time, and we’ve done a lot of research by using Genie+ and testing out different strategies. So based on our own experiences, how accurate is that claim that guests will only get on 2-3 rides per day with Genie+? Let’s find out. [Read more…]
