food IS a theme park
We love walking over to the Yacht Club after a day at EPCOT for great food and stunning water views.
But a massive closure will put a wrench in our plans soon. A popular Yacht Club restaurant closed today!
Disney World’s Yacht Club Resort is home to so many different nautical-themed restaurants that we frequent.
We were so sad when Disney closed one of our favorites, the Crew’s Cup Lounge, back in February, but Disney quietly announced the reopening date!
Slowly but surely, more and more dining options are reopening their doors and welcoming Disney World guests once again!
We recently saw the reopening of Jiko over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, and the dinner buffet has returned to Cape May Cafe at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, too. We are so excited that more Disney World dining locations are opening back up, and Disney just announced the reopening date of ANOTHER Disney Resort hotel restaurant!
Disney World Cast Members don’t wear mere uniforms at work. Instead, they wear costumes, all dependent on where they work in the resort.
Those costumes often change, sometimes to go with a specific event, and sometimes to match a certain new aesthetic that Disney World has in mind. And we just spotted a drastic change in the costumes for Cast Members at one Disney World restaurant.
We’re eagerly anticipating the opening of Epcot’s Space 220 restaurant, which will allow guests to blast off to the International Space Station for fancy food and tons of wine when it opens “this winter!”
But from this news it looks like the space-themed restaurant is making a few changes… .
We spent some time visiting the Grand Floridan and Polynesian Village Resorts while on our way to the Magic Kingdom, and spotted some menu updates for you!
After enjoying a Lapu Lapu at the recently renovated Tambu Lounge we found some menu updates at Kona Island.
Happy Princess Half-Marathon Weekend!! We had a great time in Disney World last week, and we’ve got TONS of awesome new finds to share with you over the next few weeks! Stay tuned!!
One fun find was this new design on Disney Parks paper products, like popcorn boxes, plates, cups, and more. The red design is out, and this new yellow-with-silhouettes design is in! Whaddya think?? This design will be the same across Disney World and Disneyland.
Now here’s a bit more Disney Dining news for ya!
We’ve got additional food news, including restaurant closures and LOTS more, on our Disney Food News Pin Board! Head over and check it out!
