The Disney Parks — for as long as they have existed — have been subject to conspiracies, wild claims, and flat-out lies. Whether due to folklore, boredom, misunderstandings, or fibs told for the fun of it, Disney Adults have had enough and are calling out these lies and conspiracies.
The Walt Disney Company and its theme parks have a long and storied history. From stories of Walt himself down through his legendary imagineers, the creation and evolution of each of the company’s films, characters, and theme parks have a cavalcade of tales surrounding them.

However, for every astounding true story, there are myths and legends that, despite being oft-repeated, have no truth to them. We polled our readers and members of the DFB team to get their takes on what myths they or others have believed for way too long.
Hooray for Hollywood…Studios! Okay, so Hollywood Studios is a super fun park and we’ll admit that we sometimes prefer it over the other parks in Disney World.

There’s just something special that happens when you step into Hollywood Studios and find yourself in old Hollywood with a very questionable hotel in the background (we hear the elevator keeps having problems), seeing a replica of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre right in front of you, complete with hand prints and autographs of some pretty famous people right in front. Then you can step INTO the movies, like Toy Story and Star Wars. However, there are some outright lies we keep hearing people tell about Hollywood Studios, and we’re about to bust those wide open!
