Today, June 10th is a BIG day in Disney World, friends!
Animal Kingdom
Not only is it the official opening day of CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza in EPCOT, but today, Disney’s Animal Kingdom starts celebrating the 30th Anniversary of The Lion King! Part of this massive celebration is two new meet-and-greets — come check them out with us!

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
While Tiana’s Bayou Adventure doesn’t open to the public until June 28th, we got to ride for the SECOND time today! Not only that, we just got to take a look into the new shop that will be right at the exit queue for the ride, Tiana’s Bayou General!
We’re always on the hunt for the next great Disney souvenirs and Disney World might have just released a pair of all-timers!

Oh, Disney Cruise Line, how we love you!

Cruising with Disney is VERY different from visiting Walt Disney World or Disneyland Resort because instead of rushing around the theme parks all day trying to accomplish everything you’re dreaming of, you’re relaxing on a boat, leisurely participating in whatever activities you choose. However, there are some limitations to what you can bring on a Disney Cruise that you may not be expecting, and this INCLUDES the newest cruise ship, the Disney Treasure.

CommuniCore Hall
CommuniCore Hall & Plaza are officially OPEN at EPCOT! The new spaces include stages for live music, gardens, and other decorations. Inside the Hall, you can check out a new Encanto show, gallery space, demonstration kitchens, and a mixology bar. Not only that, but there is a permanent festival booth that will feature iconic dishes from EPCOT festivals — and we’re checking it out for the first time!

Downtown Disney at Disneyland!
We love checking out all the new eats in the park, especially over at Downtown Disney! We’ve been keeping you updated with reviews for the new restaurants that have opened and snacks we’ve gotten to try, but you NEED to check out this sneak peek we got at the apparel coming to Din Tai Fung!
Now is a GREAT time to be a Disney World fan — so many exciting changes are happening!
EPCOT
We’re getting ready to celebrate the 30th Anniversary Celebration of The Lion King at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, not to mention the new meet and greet at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and the official opening of CommuniCore Hall & Plaza in EPCOT — including another new meet and greet. And, we spotted another change because a new attraction has been added to Genie+ at EPCOT!
We simply can’t get enough beignets so when we heard a new one was available at the Disneyland Resort, we couldn’t help but rush over to try it!
Beignets Expressed
Downtown Disney is full of great shops and eateries, and one of our absolute favorites is Beignets Expressed! Serving a wide variety of beignets, this small shop next to Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill and Patio is currently offering a new glazed beignet of the month and we tried it — here’s what we thought! There are lots of food options in Disney World, but sometimes it can be a challenge to find a quiet, comfortable, cool place to enjoy your meals. As we enter into the hottest months at Disney World, we wanted to share a food hack with you that you can take advantage of while you are in EPCOT.
EPCOT
This hack is like a new take on the Coral Reef experience, but for way less money than you would spend at Coral Reef Restaurant. While this hack does not include food from Coral Reef, we think you are going to love the view. Instead of having food from Coral Reef, we are heading to a nearby restaurant, and you may even find yourself closer to the aquariums while you dine!
This is A LOT going on in the Disney World parks in June!
Magic Kingdom
CommuniCore Hall and Plaza FINALLY opened in EPCOT officially ending the massive transformation. Over in Magic Kingdom, we just learned the re-opening date of Country Bear Jamboree, and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is currently in preview mode with the official opening coming soon. But today, June 10th, there will be an early closure to a part of Magic Kingdom that you need to be aware of.
