Recently, one of our reporters had a fantastic encounter with a Magic Kingdom Cast Member who definitely deserves his due! We met Disney magic personified, and his name is Mike!

We’ve known that the new Mufasa film has been on the way for a while now, getting ready to hit theaters on July 5th, 2024. You can also check out a trailer for that new film right here before you grab your tickets, but did you know the original The Lion King movie is getting ready to hit a MASSIVE milestone? It’s getting ready to return to theaters to celebrate its 30th anniversary!

Cast Members are trained to help you stay safe, and to create the magic that keeps us coming back to Disney World. They are expected to adhere to a strict set of rules while they’re on the job! Lots of those rules are related to safety, but there are many more that are all about keeping Disney World the magical environment that it is — and keeping us immersed in it! That said, there’s this one thing you’ll NEVER see a Cast Member do in Disney World!

This past May, Disney released concept art and details of the latest hotel addition and expansion to one of Walt Disney World’s original hotels, and the reaction was…not good. As Disney has released more and more concept art, fans seem to be getting more and more upset.
Epic Universe — a brand NEW theme park — is opening in 2025, bringing five new themed lands to Universal Orlando.

Universal Orlando is currently made up of two theme parks — Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, plus the Volcano Bay water park and City Walk shopping and dining center. Epic Universe will be its third theme park, and it will have five new lands: Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe. We totally get that struggle, and that’s why we’re always paying close attention to what we wear when we go to Disney World (both reporters in the park every day and those of us who travel in for leisure every once in a while) so we can recommend what does — and what doesn’t — work. One of our team members recently got back from a trip and said she was majorly complimented on this dress she wore, AND it was super comfortable!
