New Year’s Eve (Ringing in 2026) in the Disney World Theme Parks

Disney World Theme Park Hours for December 31st

Here is the list of Park Hours for December 31st, 2025:

• EPCOT — 9AM to 1AM
• Magic Kingdom — 8AM to 1AM
• Disney’s Animal Kingdom — 8AM – 7PM
• Hollywood Studios — 9AM to Midnight

New Year’s Eve in Magic Kingdom

The Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks are shown at both 7:30PM and 11:50PM, leading into a countdown to the New Year!

In fact, it can be seen on TWO nights: December 30th AND December 31st at two times each day, 7:30PM and 11:50PM.

New Year’s Eve in EPCOT

Then, the Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration Countdown Fireworks is presented on December 31st, starting a few minutes prior to midnight (at 11:54, to be exact) with the grand finale kicking off right as the clock strikes 12!

DJ dance parties also take place around World Showcase.

New Year’s Eve in Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Hollywood Studios presents the Fantasmic! nighttime spectacular on New Year’s Eve at 9:30PM.

Guests can also enjoy live entertainment and a DJ all night long, including the Pixar Dance Party at Hollywood Studios. There may be special character experiences around the park, and at 11:57 PM, you can catch the New Year Countdown Fireworks!

New Year’s Eve Special Events

The Magic of New Year’s Eve at California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort

Disney will once again host a special event at Disney’s Contemporary Resort — The Magic of New Year’s Eve at California Grill! But in 2025 (ringing in 2026), the event will be offered for TWO nights: December 30th and December 31st!

Interested guests must call 407-824-2284 to book a reservation. 

Prices vary by date and seating times, as follows:

• December 30th: $229 per person
• December 31st (Early Seating): $299 per person
• December 31st (Late Seating): $349 per person

Here’s what’s included in this year’s event:

• A 4-Course Meal: Event-exclusive dishes made from premium ingredients;
• Music: A live band will create an elegant ambiance for the upscale dining experience;
• Characters: Photo opportunities with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse;
• Fireworks: Watch Magic Kingdom’s special New Year’s Eve fireworks from a prime viewing area. Fireworks viewing will take place at the end of each seating;
• A Champagne Toast: Guests age 21+ receive a complimentary glass of champagne.

New Year’s Eve Dining in Disney Springs

Guests may want to book a special dining experience for New Year’s Eve. Several restaurants around Disney Springs offer special menus, meals, and toasting opportunities!

Raglan Road in Disney Springs

Raglan Road in Disney Springs hosts a New Year’s Eve celebration where you can ring in the new year twice!

That’s once for Florida’s Eastern Standard Time (Midnight), and once for Ireland (7PM)!

Summer House on the Lake

From 11AM to 11PM on December 31st, Summer House on the Lake will feature holiday specials, signature favorites, and New Year’s Eve-themed sweet treats from The Cookie Bar.

The festive fun continues on New Year’s Day! The spot will host the following mealtimes on January 1st:

• Brunch: 10AM – 2PM
• Dinner: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Summer House shares, “Don’t forget to stop by The Cookie Bar and pick up a special New Year’s Sprinkle Cookie!”

Jaleo

Say “Hello!” to 2026 at Jaleo by Chef José Andrés! The signature restaurant is serving a 5-course $180 Tasting Menu featuring “gourmet menu highlights from the past year,” a live DJ starting at 7 PM, a midnight Cava toast, and “the Spanish tradition of eating 12 lucky grapes for good fortune.”

Optional wine pairings and the regular drink menu will also be available. The full tasting menu can be viewed on the Jaleo website.

STK®  Steakhouse

Fine dining options in Disney Springs include STK®  Steakhouse. The evening will feature live DJs and a complimentary midnight champagne toast!

For New Year’s Eve, STK is serving a specialty menu that includes “a Colossal Lobster Tail, Wagyu from around the World, Crab Fondue, and much more.”

City Works Eater & Pour House

City Works Eatery & Pour House is offering specialty menu items to celebrate New Year’s Eve. 

Here’s what’s on the menu:

• $20.26 Bottles of Champagne: Served with a sparkler to light up your toast.
• Ribeye:14 oz Rib Eye steak, smoked garlic butter, charred brussels sprouts with bacon jam, chipotle-cheddar mashed potatoes, crispy potato haystack
• Campfire Fried Ice Cream: Crispy fried ice cream, toasted marshmallow, bourbon caramel, chocolate sauce, graham cracker crumbles, smoked almonds,  whipped cream
• Spiced Pear Red Sangria: Imagery Pinot Noir, St. George Spiced Pear Liqueur, Cointreau, Simple Syrup, Apple Juice
• Root Beer White Russian: Absolut, Kahlua, Root Beer, Cream

P.S. Brunch, which is typically exclusive to Saturdays and Sundays at City Works, will also be served starting at 11AM on New Year’s Day!

Disney World Resort Hotels

Note that Disney World Resort hotels often host special family-friendly activities to welcome the New Year, too!

Look for signs like the one above around the Resort or check with your hotel’s front desk for more information about what might be available!
