Festival of the Holidays has officially kicked off in EPCOT, bringing all the food booths, entertainment, and festive fun we look forward to every year. Plus, we’ve got the opening date for a HUGE Disney theme park expansion, and more! I’ve also got some exciting updates for all my Orlando locals—you’re definitely going to want to hear this.

There’s just something about Disney World during the holidays that makes me want to throw on a Mickey Santa hat and run straight to the parks. One of the best parts is the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays!
The Festival of the Holidays has arrived!
This festival runs from November 28th to December 30th (so you’ll want to get over there quick), and we love to come on opening day so we can try all the food, check out the entertainment, and more, so you can have all the details to have the best visit ever. Seems like other people had the same idea because we got a look at some major crowds in EPCOT.
We are living for these Black Friday deals! We’re getting all of our Christmas shopping done and grabbing a few things for ourselves as well.

Even though Orlando might of never had a white Christmas, nobody does the holidays better than Central Florida. Looking for hot chocolate? Have a frozen one. Ready to watch the snow fall? Meet “snoap,” our fake snow that’s made of soap and still flutters down from the sky. It might not get as cold as other states, but we take our holiday celebrations very seriously.

The weather is getting colder, and I’m grabbing my blankets from the top shelf, getting ready to cozy up on the couch with a good movie and hot cocoa (and the hot cocoa is from Joffrey’s because that’s the world’s greatest and you can’t change my mind).

Disney World is currently undergoing major transformations, including the construction of new lands and attractions over the coming years. Disney gave a very subtle hint about some animatronics we can expect to see, including one that wasn’t on my list!
