Shanghai Disney Resort is officially celebrating its 10th birthday anniversary, “With You, It’s Magic+,” and you get to celebrate with them.

Starting on March 20th, which is also International Happiness Day, new experiences are coming to the resort, and once you see what’s in store, you’ll want to book a plane ticket immediately.

First up, there will be an all-new entertainment show, “The Heart of Magic,” on the enhanced Castle Stage. It will feature new Disney Characters, exclusive looks, and classic Disney melodies. On the Enchanted Storybook Castle stage, there will not be three statlige stages and connecting bridges that bring guests closer to the immersive experience.

Mickey and Friends will embark on a quest to restore the Heart of Magic, joined by beloved characters from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Cinderella, Winnie the Pooh, Tangled, Mulan, Hercules (in his Shanghai Disney debut!), Frozen, Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story, Coco, and Turning Red.

FriendSHIP! The Duffy and Friends’ Special Pre-Parade will be joining the party with some of your favorite characters on an all-new float. Zootopia will also be joining the parade, Mickey’s Storybook Express.

Surrounding the vibrant concert bus, a vibrant troupe of Zootopia residents will amp up the excitement, including Gary De’Snake winding himself into playful knots, newly elected mayor Brian Winddancer leaning out with confidence, and the Big family will join the festivities too! Together, they will fuel a high‑spirited street party elevated by infectious performances of “Try Everything” from Zootopia and “Zoo” from Zootopia 2.

Let’s not forget about Illuminate! A Nighttime Celebration with a brand-new Wish segment. The whole show has been reimagined with a new birthday exclusive grand finale called Magic Together: A Special 10th Birthday Celebration. Mickey will appear in a flash of sparkles in front of the castle, wearing his 10th birthday magician ensemble. Oh yeah, we definitely need to see this in person.

The whole park will be decked out in birthday decorations along with characters in birthday outfits, treats, and presents. The park and the two resorts will have decor, and even the iconic Mickey Floral at the entrance gate will have a birthday spin.

Of course, there will be an incredible merchandise collection where we’re pretty sure we’re going to need every piece.

Keep the celebration going before, during, and after your visit through a digital experience called “My Magic Star”. Create a personalized star, draw daily magical cards, interact with new digital entertainment, unlock special in-park experiences, and share memories with themed templates and effects.

Starting March 20, new collectible park tickets will feature 30 Disney characters. Each ticket will include a puzzle piece that forms a complete set over multiple visits and a section of a Shanghai Disneyland landmark that can be used to take creative photos across the resort.

Check out the popcorn buckets! Eek! We just know everyone is going to lose their minds for these.
