Festival of the Arts has officially arrived in EPCOT, and we couldn’t be more thrilled!
Look for Figment!
There are so many delicious offerings to try at the food booths, so much entertainment to check out, but did you know you can take part in a scavenger hunt to find Figment all around World Showcase? It’ll cost you $12, but yes, Figment’s Brush with the Masters is back this year, and we still think it’s a great offering for families experiencing the festival!

Disney just dropped a new mug collection online, and it’s super tempting. Not only because the designs are super cute, but also because there’s not just one or two new ones, there are NINE! How are we supposed to resist nine new mugs? You know what, we can’t, so we’re just gonna hope that some of you buy them along with us so we feel less guilty.
You may not realize how important it is to have certain items in your bag before you travel to Disney World, but trust us, when you get to the parks and decide that it would be best to have some of those must-haves, only to find that you’re without them, it’s a bad feeling.

Now, we’re also not fans of making purchases that we actually don’t need, because then we feel like we’ve wasted our hard-earned money on something that we will never use again. That’s why WE do all the testing and let you know what’s worth it and what’s not, so you don’t have to make those hard choices! If you’re heading to the parks this year, these are the seven products we think you absolutely need in your bag.

Disney just recently released the full menus for this festival, which already has us making a list of which options we want to try most, and we can’t wait to check out all the live entertainment and artwork that make this festival as special as it is. If you’re planning to head to the festival and want to make the most of it, these are the EIGHT essentials you can’t forget to pack!
Well, it’s not every day that we walk into Disney World only to see that something has completely closed without a word to anyone.
Marketplace Snacks
Now, we ARE in Disney World every day, and we walk around the parks to try and catch things just like this, because as wild as it sounds, things ARE changing in the resort every single day. We stepped into Disney Springs today to check out the Lime Garage closure, which we’ve known was coming for many months, but then we spotted another closure — Marketplace Snacks is somehow completely…and no one has said ANYTHING about it.
Tons of construction projects are happening around Disney World Resort, and we don’t just mean the parks — the Disney World hotels and Disney Springs are seeing lots of construction too!
Disney Springs Lime Garage
Disney Springs is home to some of our favorite shopping and dining options, and with so much to do, it needs a lot of parking to be able to accommodate its crowds. There are numerous parking lots and areas available, but one MASSIVE one has just closed for refurbishment, which means parking might get a little tricky for the next few months.
Can you believe it? Festival of the Arts is right around the corner; we’re only a few days away!

We can’t wait to try the different food items at the food stations, check out all the incredible festival entertainment, and see Figment in the Brush With The Masters Scavenger Hunt (aka we get to wander around EPCOT looking for the purple dragon hidden in famous paintings). However, if you’re planning to head to opening weekend of the festival, you’ll want to pack those jackets, because it’s going to be COLD!
One of our favorite things about new months in Disney Springs is that there are NEW items at select locations that you can only grab during that month!
Time for new treats!
Even though it’s chilly in January in Orlando, we’re not opposed to grabbing some sweet treats at Swirls on the Water, which is one of our favorite spots to grab frozen treats and Dole Whip in the shopping and dining district. There are THREE new treats to snag this month, and we’ve gotta say, they’re all pretty refreshing!
