That’s right, we’re at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom for the opening night celebration. We’re here to begin our holiday celebrations and to get in the festive spirit. And we’re bringing you with us! We have seen the crowds, gotten snacks, and gone on some rides, now it’s time to watch Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration.

This first party event was SOLD OUT months in advance, so let’s take a look at what the crowds look like at a sold-out Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party!

Disney has announced the opening of new lands at its parks, new character meet and greets, new movies, new hotels, and that they are planning on spending $60 billion on parks and entertainment in the next 10 years (double from the past 10 years). There have been TONS of changes happening to help the company. Now Disney has given us a glimpse into what’s really been going on for them financially– let’s check it out!

But we shouldn’t get ahead of ourselves too much. As many people like to remember, there is still another holiday BEFORE Christmas (even if we just want to put up our trees and sing carols). Thanksgiving is celebrated in America in November, and while it’s not as big of a celebration as the other winter holidays, many do partake in turkey day. One snack company is here to remind us about the season of thanks!

But before Christmas comes Thanksgiving, and we wondered if Disney had forgotten about it. They have been releasing so many new holiday treats, souvenirs, and entertainment, but we’ve seen nothing about a turkey. That is, until now!
We’re having a jolly good time in the Disney parks with all the holiday festivities going on!
Christmas in Magic Kingdom
The holidays are in full swing at each of the parks in Disney World. You can see all the decorations, smell all the cozy gingerbread, and eat all the new holiday treats. And one new treat in Magic Kingdom is possibly the most festive snack we’ve seen yet!
Do you smell that? It smells a bit sweet and spicy. There are blends of ginger, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, and brown sugar. It has our mouths watering, but what could it be?
IT’S OPEN.
It’s gingerbread! We can smell that delicious cozy scent all through Disney’s Grand Floridian because the beautiful, iconic gingerbread house is officially complete and open! Come with us to check it out.

Starting on November 9th through December 22nd, on select nights, you can celebrate the holidays with Mickey and friends. During this festive party, you can experience a new show, characters in their holiday outfits, and shorter wait times for rides. It’s the most merriest celebration in the world–probably! Also during these events, you can stop around at different locations in the park to pick up complimentary treats. And now we know EXACTLY where to find them!
