There’s a lot to love about “The Most Magical Place on Earth”. The incredible attractions, shows, and overall nostalgia make Magic Kingdom a must-visit destination for families all over the world. With that said, there are some things we would change and we’re never one to shy away from sharing our opinions!

With 2025 in full swing, we specifically want to take a close look at the BEST counter-service options in Disney World, so let’s jump in a look at the must-visits this year at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
We love Disney World…but that doesn’t mean we love its prices.

There’s no beating around the bush — a Disney World vacation in 2025 is going to be EXPENSIVE. This is not exactly a shocking statement, as we’ve dabbled PLENTY in the luxuries the resort has to offer. However, each year, those prices only increase more and more, and appears 2025 will NOT be an exception. We’re no strangers to Disney price increases, but back in October, Disney World announced a BUNCH of them. We’ve rounded up a full list so that you’re prepared going into your next trip!
We’ve eaten at EVERY Disney World restaurant so it’s safe to say we have plenty of thoughts!
Swan and Dolphin Hotel
The Swan and Dolphin Resort at Disney World is incredibly popular, especially when it comes to the restaurant and festival offerings. The Swan and Dolphin have a combined 23 restaurants but there is ONE standout that we can’t stop raving about.
Alright Disney, have a seat. It’s time we had a talk about your behavior.
Haunted Mansion has reopened!
The Disneyland Resort is no stranger to ride overlays. Fully embracing the holidays, Disneyland often likes to temporarily retheme attractions so add some seasonal flare. In fact, Disney doesn’t always need a holiday to just a ride overlay, such as the case of Hyperspace Mountain. However, Halloween Time and the Holidays at Disneyland bring in the overlays in bulk at both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure, and no overlay — maybe at any Disney Park worldwide — is more popular than Haunted Mansion Holiday, the Haunted Mansion’s The Nightmare Before Christmas seasonal retheme. Disney is fully aware of the overlay’s popularity, to the detriment of the original attraction.
Foolish Mortals, heed this warning before riding Disney World’s Haunted Mansion!
Haunted Mansion
One of the most ICONIC rides in all of Disney World, Haunted Mansion over in Magic Kingdom offers riders plenty of scares, laughs, and a frighteningly good time. We LOVE this ride, but if you’ve never been, there are some warnings we need to deliver just so you’re fully prepared before visiting the 999 happy haunts.
We saw some great new rides debut in 2024, but 2025 may be an even bigger year for new attractions!
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Last year, we saw several new attractions pop up at major theme parks all over the world as well as the promise of great new rides and lands opening in the future. As we head deeper into 2025, we can’t help but get excited about the future of the theme park industry and some highly-anticipated attractions that are slated to open THIS YEAR!
Mark your calendars — an ICONIC Disney California Adventure is discontinuing service PERMANENTLY this weekend.
Disney California Adventure
After nearly 13 years of service up and down parts of Disney California Adventure, Red Car Trolley is closing for good this Sunday, February 9th, 2025. The last day to get a ride in is February 8th before the attraction gives way for some BRAND-NEW rides.
Magic Kingdom
Last year, the entire Disney World theme park experience was shooketh when the resort converted its Genie+ service into NEW Lightning Lane offerings. The dust has now settled and we’ve gotten comfortable with the new offerings, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the comfortability is widespread. If you’re still wondering how Lightning Lanes work, how they don’t work, and if they’re worth it, allow us to share a little insight.
